With the holiday season approaching, here is a favorite hot chocolate recipe to warm your family and guests. Snowball Hot Chocolate is a rich, creamy white chocolate drink finished with a scoop of ice cream and topped with chocolate, fudge syrup, marshmallows, or any garnish you prefer.

Snowball Hot Chocolate
Hi everyone! I’m Sara from Bitz & Giggles. Winter has already started here in Wisconsin, and while I’m not thrilled about the cold, I do appreciate cozy boots and sweaters. This snowball-inspired hot chocolate makes the season a little sweeter.
It begins simply with heavy cream, milk, vanilla, and white chocolate chips gently warmed together until silky and smooth.
The most heavenly part comes next: a scoop of ice cream. Any flavor works, but Vanilla Fudge Swirl is exceptional. Because the ice cream cools the drink slightly as it melts, this hot chocolate reaches the perfect sipping temperature immediately—no waiting, no burned tongues. Kids and adults who usually avoid hot drinks because they’re too hot will love this version.
As the ice cream melts into the white chocolate base, it creates an incredibly creamy, dreamy texture. This white hot chocolate is indulgent without being overly hot, and it won’t scald like a drink poured straight from the stove. Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup or a handful of marshmallows for extra decadence.
This treat is sure to delight family and holiday guests. Serve it warm, top with your favorite garnish, and enjoy a cozy, memorable drink.
