These three-ingredient Peanut Butter Ornaments are quick to make and perfect for adding a festive touch to gift plates or treat bags for friends and neighbors. They’re an easy way to include something cute and seasonal alongside your traditional holiday candies.
After making Skippy Peanut Butter Bites into Peanut Butter Pumpkins in the fall, it felt natural to use the same bites for a Christmas version. With only three ingredients, these ornaments come together quickly and require minimal effort.
I wondered how to create the little hooks for the ornaments until I spotted Wilton sprinkles in the Christmas section at Walmart. One mix included tiny red and white candy cane-shaped sprinkles — perfect for creating an ornament hook look. It was an easy find, and in fact, every ingredient used in this recipe is commonly available at major retailers.
You can also decorate the ornaments with additional sprinkles or edible glitter. After dipping a Peanut Butter Bite in the melted candy coating while it’s still on the toothpick, hold it over a bowl and sprinkle the decorations on top. Avoid dipping the coated bite into the sprinkles — that can distort the candy coating and create uneven shapes.

Peanut Butter Ornaments

Ingredients
- Skippy Peanut Butter Bites
- Vanilla candy melts (and optional red and green candy melts for accents)
- Wilton candy cane sprinkles or similar small candy hooks
Directions
Melt candy melts according to package instructions. Insert a toothpick into a Peanut Butter Bite and dip it into the melted vanilla candy until fully coated, swirling to cover evenly. Tap off any excess coating and place the bite on parchment or wax paper. Remove the toothpick and press a candy cane sprinkle into the top to resemble a hook. If desired, add additional colored accents or sprinkle decorations while the coating is still warm. Allow to set, then enjoy.
