These Honey Mustard Cocktail Sausages are the perfect party bite — irresistibly tasty, simple to make and ready with just 3 ingredients. A sticky honey-and-mustard glaze transforms basic cocktail sausages into a festive favourite.

I love having easy gluten free party food on hand during the holidays. For me, Christmas is about grazing, leftovers and plenty of little nibbles — and these Honey and Mustard Cocktail Sausages fit the bill perfectly. They’re delicious served warm or cold, which makes them ideal for buffet-style entertaining or casual snacking.
Made with gluten free cocktail sausages they’re a great option for a coeliac-safe festive appetiser that everyone can enjoy. The combination of sweet honey and tangy wholegrain mustard gives a lovely sweet-and-savory balance that’s addictive.

Ingredients
Only 3 ingredients (plus a pinch of salt) are needed for these glazed sausages:
- Cocktail sausages: Choose gluten free cocktail sausages — check the label to be sure.
- Wholegrain mustard: Usually gluten free; swap for Dijon if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Honey: A runny honey works best to create a glossy, sticky glaze.

How to Make Honey Mustard Cocktail Sausages
These sausages are quick to prepare and can be cooked in the oven or an air fryer. Start by combining the honey and mustard in a bowl, then add the sausages and toss so each one is evenly coated.

Oven method
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan 180°C / Gas Mark 6). Spread the glazed sausages in a single layer on a non-stick baking tray. Roast for around 20 minutes, turning once midway, until the sausages are browned and cooked through.
Air fryer method
Place the coated sausages in the air fryer basket (a silicone liner can help with cleanup). Air fry at 180°C (356°F) for 15–18 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through, until they are nicely browned and cooked through.

Storing and Freezing
These sausages can be served hot straight from the oven or air fryer, or kept chilled for grazing. Leftovers should be cooled completely, stored in the fridge and eaten within 3 days. Reheat gently or enjoy cold. Cooked sausages can also be frozen — defrost thoroughly and reheat well before serving.
